It performs as a natural spectrum which disperse the white sunlight into colourful bows. It is caused by dispersion of sunlight as tiny water droplets, present in the atmosphere. The tiny droplets of water refract and disperse the incident white sunlight, then reflect it internally. Due to this different colour reach the towards our eye or observer’s eye.
