It is caused by the toxins produced in the human body by malarial parasite Plasmodium which is carried from the infected person to the healthy persons by the bite of the female Anopheles mosquito. Malaria results anaemia, enlargement of liver and spleen. Moreover, she is on four days fast which has made her body weak due to improper supply of food. So, she is more prone to infections.
