    OACB is a minor sector. We know that, the area of a sector θ/360° × πr² Therefore, area of sector OACB = 60°/360° × 22/7 (6)² = 1/6 × 22/7 × 6 × 6 = 132/7 cm² See this Video explanation👇😀

    OACB is a minor sector.
We know that, the area of a sector θ/360° × πr²
    Therefore, area of sector OACB
    = 60°/360° × 22/7 (6)²
    = 1/6 × 22/7 × 6 × 6

Find the area of a quadrant of a circle whose circumference is 22 cm.

    Let the radius of circle = r Circumference = 22 cm Therefore, 2πr = 22 ⇒ r = 22/2π = 11/π Quadrant of circle subtends an angle of 90° at the center. Therefore, the area of quadrant = 90°/360° × πr² = 1/4 × π(11/π)² = 1/4 × π × 11/π = 121/4π = (121 × 7)/(4 × 22) = 77/8 cm² See here for better understRead more

Let the radius of circle = r
