The roots create cracks in the floor and the leaves stretch out as if to move towards the glass, perhaps in need of sunlight. the soft twigs become strong and stiff. So the trees breathe and they are welcomed by the wind. The moon resembles a broken mirror, reflecting off the leaves. The poetess reveals that she will feel lonely after the trees departure.
