Water stagnation creates perfect breeding sites for mosquitoes. Standing water allows mosquitoes to lay their eggs, which hatch into larvae and pupae. These stages develop into adult mosquitoes, increasing their numbers and the risk of spreading diseases such as malaria, dengue fever, and Zika virus.
