Why should neon blue not be used in Vedic period scenes?

  • 1

Neon blue is a modern, synthetic color that wasn’t available during the Vedic period. Using it would be historically inaccurate and break the illusion of the ancient setting portrayed in the play.

  1. Neon blue is a bright, artificial color created using modern chemical dyes. It didn’t exist in the Vedic period, when natural dyes like indigo, turmeric or henna were used for coloring fabrics. Including neon blue in a costume set in ancient times would appear out of place and reduce the play’s authenticity. Costume design should match the available resources and aesthetics of the time to help the audience immerse themselves in the story’s historical background.
