  1. The maximum kinetic energy of photoelectrons is given by K.E. = e × V, where e is the electron charge (1.6 × 10⁻¹⁹ C) and V is the stopping potential. Thus, K.E. = 1.6 × 10⁻¹⁹ × 1.5 = 2.4 × 10⁻¹⁹ J.
