Grandpa came to the city because his daughter, Vidya, was worried about his safety and wanted him to stay with her. He had experienced problems such as forgetting things, taking a double dose of medicine, getting lost and falling while alone. Vidya therefore felt that he should not live by himself. Although Grandpa disliked city life, he moved in with his daughter for these reasons.
