Can we control movement in our body?

Yes, we can consciously control voluntary movements using skeletal muscles attached to bones. Actions like walking, writing and lifting objects occur when the nervous system sends signals to skeletal muscles, causing coordinated movement in different body parts.

  1. Humans can control voluntary movements with the help of skeletal muscles and the nervous system. Skeletal muscles are attached to bones and respond to signals sent by the brain through nerves. Activities such as running, writing, speaking and lifting objects are voluntary movements because they occur under conscious control and coordinated action of muscles and nerves.
