The United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) is an independent, bipartisan federal government entity established by the 1998 International Religious Freedom Act. It monitors the universal right to freedom of religion or belief abroad. USCIRF reviews global facts and circumstances of religious violations and makes policy recommendations to the U.S. President and Congress.
