Spiders are arachnids, not insects. They have eight legs, no antennae, and two body parts. Ants, being insects, have six legs, antennae, and three body parts. Spiders spin webs to catch prey, while ants work in colonies. Observing both shows how different arachnids and insects are in structure and behavior.

  1. Spiders and ants may seem similar, but they belong to different groups. Spiders are arachnids with eight legs, two body parts, and no antennae. Ants are insects with six legs, three body parts, and long antennae. Spiders often live alone and spin webs using silk to catch prey. Ants, on the other hand, live in large colonies and work together to gather food. While spiders hunt for food, ants are mostly scavengers. Observing them closely shows us how nature has given each creature a unique role and structure. Learning about them helps us appreciate biodiversity and their roles in ecosystems.
