  1. Here, a = – 4 and a₆ = 6. To find: a₂, a₃, a₄ and a₅
    Given that: a₆ = a + (6 -1)d = 6
    ⇒ -4 + 5d = 6 ⇒ 5d = 10 ⇒ d = 2
    Therefore, a₂ = a + d = – 4 + 2 = – 2
    a₃ = a + 2d = – 4 + 2(2) = 0
    a₄ = a + 3d = – 4 + 3(2) = 2
    a₅ = a + 4d = – 4 + 4(2) = 4
